10 Mar 2026

Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University,

and the patronage of Professor Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud Ibrahim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development,

Professor Dr. Mohamed Sayed Qaid, Dean of the Faculty,

and Professor Dr. Ahmed Bahaa El-Din, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development.

As part of the activities to provide consultations and enhance cooperation between the Faculty and industrial institutions, a request for cooperation with Titan Cement Company was approved. This cooperation aims to conduct advanced applied research focused on developing a program based on artificial intelligence technologies.

The project aims to transform traditional surveillance cameras into smart cameras capable of monitoring employee movements within the work environment and detecting emergencies such as injuries or sudden fainting spells. These cameras will send immediate alerts to factory management for rapid intervention and rescue of workers, thus contributing to reducing risks and saving lives.

This collaboration reflects the company's commitment to enhancing occupational safety standards within its factories and leveraging modern technological solutions to protect employees and improve the work environment.

For its part, the college aims, through this project, to provide innovative solutions to industrial problems by employing scientific research and advanced technologies to serve the industrial sector and bridge the gap between academia and practical application.

This collaboration was implemented in March 2026, with the participation of the college administration, in cooperation with Titan Cement Company, at the college premises.

This project underscores the college's role in supporting innovation, providing scientific consultations, and strengthening partnerships with leading companies, thereby contributing to achieving sustainable development and serving the community.
