"SPARC": A Graduation Project at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Beni Suef University, Develops an Intelligent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Powered by Artificial Intelligence

As part of the distinguished graduation projects of students at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Beni Suef University, a team of students presented SPARC, an intelligent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system based on artificial intelligence technologies. The system aims to transform operational data within organizations into accurate information that supports rapid and efficient decision-making.

The project addresses the challenges faced by organizations in managing sales, purchasing, and inventory operations, particularly in the trade, import, and export sectors. It provides an integrated operational platform supported by an AI agent capable of understanding user queries in natural language, analyzing data, connecting information from various departments, and then delivering accurate and documented answers in record time.

The system is distinguished by its design from the outset as a native AI environment. Its role extends beyond simply recording transactions; it understands the business context, analyzes operational data, and provides insights that help departments make faster and more accurate decisions, while maintaining transparency and the verifiability of information sources. The project relies on an intelligent analytical agent that operates through several stages, beginning with understanding the user's question, then planning how to reach the answer, invoking the appropriate system tools according to user permissions, and analyzing data across different departments before presenting documented and interpretable results, thus enhancing confidence in the AI output.

The project aims to accelerate the decision-making process and enable non-technical users to analyze data using natural language. It also provides proactive alerts for operational risks, such as declining sales, inventory stagnation, or expired quotes, transforming the resource management system from a mere data record into an intelligent tool to support management and planning.

The project team includes students: Omar Masoud Omar, Khaled Hajjaj Shaaban, Younis Ayman Younis, Omar Mohamed Hamed, Fatima Shaaban Ibrahim, and Sarah Mohamed Farouk.

The project was supervised by Dr. Noha Yahya Hassan and assisted by Engineer Mahmoud Khaled. The project reflects the scientific and technical level of the students of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Beni Suef University, and their ability to employ the latest artificial intelligence technologies to develop practical solutions that meet the needs of the labor market and contribute to supporting digital transformation and raising the efficiency of institutions.
